KASSINAKIS Invests in AI Training: Building the Foundation for Tomorrow
A significant training initiative has been completed for our team. Over the last two
months, we brought in Stefanos Karagos, an AI expert and founder of CAIO Group
(wearecaio.com), to train our people in practical applications of artificial intelligence.
It was a deliberate investment in how we work and how we will remain competitive
in a changing industry.
The Rationale
The fundamental principle behind this initiative was this: companies that ignore this
technology shift risk falling behind. On the other hand, companies that rush to board
the train without a plan—without understanding their goals—waste resources. We,
in close collaboration with Stefanos, chose a third path: we invested in genuine
learning, tailored to our specific needs.
The Training
The program focused on two core capabilities:
1. Precision in Communication: We recognized that to maximize the value of AI
tools, we need to adapt them to our environment. It’s not enough to use default
settings. We did internal work to create customized profiles and configurations that
meet the specific needs of our different departments. At the same time, we
understood that how we ask questions of AI directly affects the quality of results.
Detail, context, and structure matter.
2. Customized Workflows: Different problems require different approaches. There is
no single AI solution to address all challenges. But our team learned to think
systematically about how to structure interactions depending on what they’re trying
to accomplish.
The Participation
What impressed us most wasn’t just what people learned. It was how they
participated. Our team came prepared. They brought real work challenges.
This isn’t passive learning. These are professionals who recognize tools they can
integrate into their work and start applying them immediately.
The Investment
This training reflects how KASSINAKIS operates. We are a company with over 60
years of heritage in manufacturing, but we don’t ignore change.
When technology becomes relevant to how we work, we invest in understanding it
properly. We don’t ask our people to discover it on their own. We invest in the best
training we can find. We give our team the tools and knowledge to remain at the
forefront.
Our team will experiment and learn how these capabilities integrate into real work.
Some applications will stick. Others won’t. We’ll discover what truly creates value in
our business.
But the message is clear: KASSINAKIS is thinking about the future. We’re preparing
our people for tomorrow’s work. We’re investing in capability that matters.
